Liquidation Nation sells liquidated merchandise and grocery items from major store chains and manufacturers at 30-70% below retail. This slightly chaotic, but still organized over-stocked store has everything from vitamins to canned meat, beauty to home improvement, fitness, toys, diapers, and more …all at substantial discounts.
The only way to shop this surprising gem is to go down each aisle methodically so you don’t miss anything. There is a lot packed into this store. The grocery and household selection here is extensive, making up 50% of the stores’ inventory.
Great buys included Combs Family Farms Maple Syrup for $2.99 instead of $8.99. Barilla whole grain Spaghetti pasta was $1 instead of $1.75-2. each. Pampers Overnight (size 5 ) 88 ct Diaper pack was $29.99 instead of $45. Bounty paper towel rolls were $1.99 each instead of $4 each. Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Laundry (45 oz) detergent was $3.99 instead of $7-$14. Naked Essential Dry grain-free Cat Food was $7 instead of $17. A 48-pack of Dole Pineapple juice was $14.99 instead of $36-37. Lucien Organic Strawberry Preserves was $3.99 instead of $9.90 on Amazon. Terra Elyssa Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (34 Fl Oz) was $7.99 instead of $15.50-32. Deep Sea Wild Caught canned salmon (7.5 oz ) was $1.99 or 2 for $3. Retail is $3-4 each and The Ojai Cooks Lemonaise (12 oz) was $1.99 instead of $12!
There were 8 rows of grocery items here. But that’s the only reason to shop here regularly.
I spotted a Proform Protrainer rower machine for $199 instead of $699. A new-in-box Panasonic 1.3 cu Microwave was $69.99 instead of $179-200. Some old school high-top Converse sneaks were $20-$30 instead of $75-100. Wolverine work boots were $49. A Ginour orbital sander was only $14.99. Retail is $60. Murad Clarifying Enzyme treatment kit was $9.99 instead of $16-20. Some Simple Human trash cans were $35-39.A Kholer kitchen touchless faucet was $169 instead of $200 and Funavo inflatable kids swimming pool was $25 instead of $36-45.
There is some due diligence shoppers have to do here. A couple of canned food items were expired and some women’s vitamins would expire in 3 months. Neither of these raised an eyebrow, but should be considered when shopping.
Liquidation Nation has some regular shoppers haunting it. I chatted it up with a well-dressed mom who said she comes in every week to look for deals and a younger dude was there looking at toys for his nephews. We walked out with the Naked Essential cat food (2), pasta, The Terra Elyssa Olive Oil and the Murad Enzyme Treatment. We saved $35!
This Santa Clarita Outlet gem should be on your list if you live in North L.A. County!
