The Closet Trading Company is a delightful resale shop with discounts of 40-70% on women’s designer and name brands clothing and accessories.
Their new, bright location in Studio City is a cozy space with an abundant, yet nicely curated selection of NWT, gently used women’s designer attire.
Fun buys included a Staud Pickel Ball tee shirt at $48 instead of the original $120. A romantic, slinky Love Shack Fancy floral maxi dress was $128. Original retail was about $650.
An Anine Bing short ruffle dress was $88. I spotted it on sale at the Vestiare Collective for $112. Original retail was $350. An Alice & Olivia red cropped jacket was perfect for the holidays at $128 instead of $595. A Nili Lotan silk sleeveless black top was $78 instead of the original $298 and Ramy Brooks lace up blouse was $48.
Women’s shoes were beautifully edited with an assortment of heels, flats and boots. Some Chanel tweed camellia ballerina flats were $268 instead of $1390. Some super cute pink suede Jimmy Choo pumps were $248 instead of $695. A pair of strappy tan patent leather Manola Blahnik’ s heels were also $248.
There was a rack of activewear with a pink Lululemon zip up hoodie for $58. There was also a nice rack of denim jeans with some Agolde jeans for $54.
Hidden around a corner was a rack of designer runway items. Here a NWT, Love Shack Fancy white lace maxi dress was $128 instead of $300 and a stunning, “entrance making”
Rachel Zoe fringe metallic dress was $298. Original retail was $698.
Luxury designer bags by Louis Vuitton, Chanel and the like were secure behind the counter and are sold at market resale or a little less.
For those of you who consign, Closet Trading Company is very picky, only consigning designer brands in mint condition. They also post their consignment split publicly… no secrets here!
Located near several other intriguing resale shops, boutiques and restaurant, there is plenty of places to shop within walking distance.
Overall, this great “pop in” shop that should be a part of your designer resale boutique routine. So many wonderful choices at delicious savings!
