Shark Liquidation Outlet has discounts of 30-75% off retail on Home Improvement, furniture appliances, flooring and more liquidated from Costco and Home Depot.
You may recognize this outlet originally as Buildland (reviewed in 2021). But, with their new restructuring, better organization and more furniture deals, they are now called Shark Liquidation.
Here you’ll find discontinued products, overstock & customer returns. There are some seriously great deals to be found here. But any sharp shoppers should look everything over twice since a large amount of product looks to be customer returns.
That said, I thought the best deals were in two areas: flooring and furniture.
Immediately upon entering I spotted a leather sectional recliner for $1799 instead of $3300. A Karson Leather Power recliner sold for $2399 instead of $3299 at Costco. A greenish tweed tufted modern sofa was $999 instead of $1799 at Costco and Thomasville 6 pc gray sectional that was $1999 is $1299 here.
A 5 pc dining set that is $1150 at Costco, is $789 here. An intriguing, round Lift-Top coffee table was $339 instead of $850… it had a small scratch. A lounge chair w/ ottoman was $279 instead of $550
Customer returned showroom rugs start at $15. At first, I was “taken aback” by seeing used rugs. Then I realized that I had bought a used rug at an Estate Sale for $50. So a starting price of $15 is great, if they let you unroll it to look closer. A new, discontinued 5 x 8’ beige rug was $59 and a lovely 7 x 10’ cream, blue & taupe traditional rug was $79.
The selection of flooring in vinyl, laminate and engineered hardwood was great. Tawny Brown White Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring was $2.19 a sq ft. Lumber Liquidators though had it online at $1.99 a sq ft. … at least you skip the shipping costs. Renature Copenhagen bamboo flooring was here at $1.99 a sq. st. instead of $4.29 a sq. ft. Lifeproof wide plank Waukee Mill Maple case was $49 a case instead of $66 at Home Depot and discontinued Mohawk plank hardwood in Claymore Oak was $35 a box instead of $85 a box on Ebay.
Other good deals included a GE 31 bottle Wine Cooler for $329 instead of $800. A 60” wood double sink vanity was $999 instead of $1350. A discontinued Moen Kaden kitchen faucet was $119 and a Whirlpool French door fridge (customer return- no dings) for $1399 instead of $1998.
The staff here is good natured and eager to help, but there wasn’t a lot of them to do that. Though they test product, there are no returns or warranties. All sales are final.
This centrally located liquidation outlet is a place you should go first to hunt for a great deal.
