Originally launched in 2013 in New York City, they’ve expanded to Chicago, London, Melbourne, Sidney and Southern California.
Looking through their offerings I noticed major venues from the Hollywood Bowl down to the Laguna Playhouse.
Recent deals include August Wilson Fences at the Laguna Playhouse for $42-49 instead of $70-100. Momma Mia at the Segerson Center for the Arts was $76-107 instead of $90-200.
The Life of Pi at the Ahmanson was $42-56 instead of $36 to $167. Like the L.A. Phil? They had LA Phil tickets for Mozart & Nielsen seats at Disney Hall starting at $27 instead of $47-109 and Hamlet at the Mark Taper Forum were $42- $134 instead of $59 – 170.
I did notice that on some tickets initial offering price was not as low as the actual venue price. Deeper investigation saw that the venue ‘s super low price were for “nose bleed” seats.
Todays Tix also has a rewards program if you buy through their app. These rewards include an additional 10% off your tickets and special ticket pricing drops.
The site is easy to navigate and you can easily pick your seats. They do guarantee their tickets in case of cancellations and will refund you with a voucher credit for another event, but they don’t refund your money.
