The Jonathan Adler Annex has discounts of 50-85% on new upscale modern furniture, lighting, rugs, decor and more. The illustrious design company, known for its modern American glamour quietly launched the “Jonathan Adler Annex”… and it’s hidden. You have to be “in the know” to shop there.
This secret section of the main Jonathan Adler showroom is where they send their showroom samples and discontinued pieces when new stock comes in. Here you see sofas, chairs, lighting, rugs and decor marked down to 50% off.
The actual discounts, however can be even steeper than their “official” discount… so you have to ask the price on each item. The real price is a secret, until you ask.
I was asked not to share all the pricing… since it’s so low. But their PR company sent me some scoop.
A dusty blue Lampert Sleeper sofa that retailed at $4700 was $2350 but is now $752. I spotted a US polly 6-light chandelier tagged on sale for $747 instead of $1425. But, the real price was $374. A Saturn side lounge chair retailed at $2500, was $1500, but now is $400 and an Alphaville cocktail table that retailed at $2100 was $336.
Usually there is some kind of sale also going on in their main showroom. Though not near as steep, I would recommend looking. Combining pieces from both showrooms can save you some real money.
One of the coolest thing about this hidden “outlet” is that there is no signage, nothing on the exterior lets you know it’s there. You have to ask at someone in main showroom, to let you in. They’ll walk you over to an adjacent store front and unlock the door. Bring your color swatches and measurements. Here you pounce, since it could be gone tomorrow. Most items are one of a kind.
This is a modern furniture outlet you haunt. Inventory moves fast and varies with each season. No worries, there was plenty to see, even in their smaller space. Only a couple of items seemed to have any issues…. a faded seat and a missing finial. So do examine everything before buying.
Of course at these outrageously low prices, everything here is final sale and you have to arrange delivery. But, if you know interior design and quality, you’ll want to check in here first.
