Quince.com is an ethically sourced, high quality, luxury home and fashion website with discounts of 30-80%.
There were quality fashions for men and women as well as home items in bedding, bath and rugs.
Everything was well priced. They created Quince to “create an item of equal or greater quality than leading luxury brands at a much lower price.” I believe they succeeded.
The stand out bargain to me though, was the cashmere product. Easily priced at 50-80% off retail. Plus, they go way out of their way to explain how they source their cashmere and what the quality is. The only thing I was unable to ascertain was the ply count. The standard, way back in the day, was 4 ply. Most vintage cashmere sweaters before 1980 was 4 ply. Now the most common is 2 ply.
That said, a women’s Mongolian Cashmere Cardigan Sweater that would retail at J Crew, Macys and the like at around $140, is here at $69.90. A Mongolian Baby Cashmere Crewneck sweater is $99.90 instead of $1000. A Men’s Crewneck cashmere sweater is $59.90 instead of $130. A Mongolian Cashmere wrap was $99.90 instead of $175-$200.
Other good buys include a Men’s Organic Cotton stretch Oxford shirt for $39.90 instead of $58. A women’s light weight down (ethically sourced) puffer jacket was $50 instead of $169. A women’s puffer vest was $39.90 instead of $100. A baby Alpaca wool cropped cardigan was $59.90 instead of $110 and a cotton V neck tee was just $15 instead of $25-$35.
The bedding was also well priced with an Organic Luxe Waffle Duvet set at $99 instead of $239 and an organic cotton quilt was $99 instead of $198.
For quality, and ethically sourced fashion for less, this site really stands out amongst any I’ve seen.
I may end up doing my entire Holiday shopping on this site cause they also give additional discounts when you buy any 3 cashmere, silk, linen, superset, activewear, socks, jackets or Alpaca sweaters. Nice!
