Good Estate Sale Companies have websites and an email list. Most list their sales on listing websites where you can see the type of home, the type of sale and items that will be found there. Each sale is different.

Generally, Estate Sale companies price items at well below fair market to move merchandise and make the product attractive to dealers. Some price items at market value or higher, depending upon how collectible and or rare the items are.

7. Plug in all electronic items before purchasing. There are NO warranties on anything.
8. Early arrivals get the best stuff. But later arrivals get the best deals.

Don’t forget, Estate Sale shopping is a treasure hunt and you may have to dig. There will be plenty of unique collectibles and upscale items mixed in with regular junk.

If you are interested in bigger pieces like furniture, lighting fixtures or appliances, you will need to flag someone down as soon as possible and put a “Sold” sign on the item that includes your name. Until this happens, the item is not yours.

Oh …..and don’t forget your manners and a sense of adventure. This is fun bargain shopping for the treasure hunter in all of us!
