Offer Up

Retailer Type: Online Only

The beginning of the year usually has a lot of us clearing out closets, drawers and getting re-organized. I would bet some of the stuff we’ve accumulated still has a lot of life left to it. So why not try selling it?

Or, if you’re looking for a deal, why not try finding a good deal on someone else’s cast off items.

Worldwide Exotics

Retailer Type:

As we design our drought tolerant, California friendly yards, we’ve run into some issues at local nurseries. The biggest issue was the staff at standard nurseries, though reasonably helpful, didn’t know enough about cactus, succulents, grasses, natives and other drought tolerant shrubs to help us design a garden that would really work for the long term. Then we found Worldwide Exotics!

Divine’s Furniture

Retailer Type:

I originally visited Divines Furniture way back in 2003. As an avid antique hound, I immediately fell in love with the place. Rows and rows of Vintage, Antique and Mid- Century Home Furnishings and tons Tiffany styled lighting at way below market pricing.

Now, 13 years later I ventured back. I brought Hubby in tow to make sure I didn’t buy anything. That’s how good this place is.

King Richards Antique Center

I headed over to the Dahdoul Textiles outlet in Commerce this week. I had visited Dahdoul Textiles about 6 years ago and though everything was well below retail, I wasn’t impressed enough with the quality to write about it. But I thought I should take another look.
