YES! New on the home furnishings resale scene is film and prop reseller Previously On in Burbank. Owner Nick, buys up previously rented, used home furnishings and home décor from local film and television studios from TV shows and pilots that are either canceled or not picked up. The furniture has been used on set, but never used in a living situation.

This store front has savings of 20%-70% on both modern new and classic furniture, home décor, bedding, antiques, collectibles and more. Some in mint condition, others items needing a little TLC. Everything here was well built and had a very cool designer atheistic.

Cruising around this nicely merchandise store, I was quickly taken with some of the startling savings. A new Modernica Tenon, wood, dining table was $899 instead of $2000. Some white, mod, leather dining chairs showed a bit of use, but at $50 instead of the market price of $100 each, they were a deal. A really nice set of modern side chairs in a cool blue velvet were also a great buy at $140 each instead of $250. I also spotted a brand new, modern grey tweed sofa priced at $699 instead of $750 and some red bar chairs were $75 each instead of $190.

Other interior designer type pieces include an Arteriors, table top, folding mirror was $495 instead of the original $600. A contemporary 6-drawer chest was $275 instead of $600. A gorgeous, nail head tapestry wing chair originally retailed at $800 but is here at $350. Some duck tail, Piper arm chairs were $375 instead of $545 each. A stunning Bernhardt leather club chair was $799 instead of $1899 and an Arteriors Upholstered queen bed was $550 instead of $900.

There are a lot of décor items here in wall artwork and tabletop as well as some lighting pillows and rugs. Décor pillows ran from $5-$35 and the tiny amount of bedding was a steal with a Fieldcrest king down comforter at $40 instead of $300 and a Calvin Klein King Duvet at $150 instead of $250. Wall art was on sale the day I went in at $5-$25… people were walking out with 3-5 pieces each. Retail would run $50-$600

A few of the new décor items and brand new home furnishings were at or near retail…. but not many. So you need to know the marketplace to be sure on the décor items. But that shouldn’t deter you….

This place is a treasure trove of stylish home furnishing deals for savvy shoppers…. at well below retail. I recommend stopping in often.
