| Thinking
about Valentines Day?
I have tasted hundreds of different kinds of chocolate from Belgium
to Godiva. Every time I try something new, I always come back to
my all time local favorite … See’s Candy.
World famous now, See’s Candy had humble beginnings starting
back in 1921 in a little shop on Western Avenue in Los Angeles.
It featured the favorite candy recipes of Mary See who only used
farm-fresh ingredients. Sees Candy is only located in the western
United States, but you can treat friends and loved ones back east
this Valentines Day by ordering online at www.sees.com
The pricing always has been reasonable for these sweets. Valentines
Day favorites included heart shaped boxes filled with assorted chocolates
from ¼ lb to 2lbs ranging from $5.10-$32.50.
My favorites are the 1lb mix chocolate boxes from $14.10 and the
8 oz Truffle box at $8.10. A 1lb, 5oz box of their famous lollipops
is a great gift as is their 1lb chocolate fudge with walnuts at
$14.10. The online store is easy to navigate and also allows you
to pick the day of delivery.
I regularly give Sees Candies for business gifts and to far away
friends. The only draw back of ordering online is not going into
their signature black and white themed stores and getting a couple
of free candies with each order.
It’s a truly yummy way to say I love you!
