Suzanne (Zannee) & Kevin O’Connor created BargainsLA.com, Southern California’s premier source for “up to the minute” bargains scoop, sample sales and consumer information in 1999. Suzanne does all the researching, writing and reporting and husband Kevin tackles & resolves technical web issues. Suzanne expertise led to her being crowned LA’s Bargain Shopping Queen by NBC’s Doug Kreigel in 2001.

So how does one become a bargain shopping queen?

It’s takes a lot of accumulated insider know how and leg work. Suzanne holds a high standard when seeking out bargain sources, sales and outlets in Southern California. Being cheap is not enough. All recommended sources on BargainsLA.com must offer “quality goods and service at well below retail pricing”. The key to a real bargain is quality, it has to have value.
Originally inspired by her mom, L.A.’s original Bargain Lady and CBS Super Shopper Geri Cook, Suzanne mastered the art of living well for less while she was a working as a professional dancer until 1997. Looking for work that didn’t require sticking her leg up in the air all the time, Suzanne began researching bargain sources for her mom’s Best Bargains Newsletter and also co-hosted the “The Bargain Show” on KRLA 870am.

Since then Suzanne expertise and enthusiasm has led to numerous appearances on television news and talk shows. This black belt shopper leaves no stone unturned in her search for a deal and loves sharing the infectious fun of bargain hunting.
