Unexpected Expenses

It always amazes me how fast we can go from not needing anything, to needing a lot.

Literally a month ago, we didn’t need anything. I had a full closet, all of our furniture was in great shape, our refrigerator was running perfectly, my daughter had a retainer, I had plenty of skin care product, my cell phone worked and our car’s breaks didn’t squeak.

A Disposable World

In our disposable world, we tend throw stuff out before we repair or re-use it. 

Our grand parents and great grand parents didn’t do that. They repaired, saved and re-used items. But they didn’t have the technology growth we have had.  Everything can be recycled somehow.

Valentines Day Chocolate Cake

Ok, I love chocolate….I bet you do too.

But with that love comes some odd parameters. I don’t love getting a box of chocolate…. unless it’s something outrageously unique. It’s too much work regulating how much I eat at any one sitting. I also won’t drink chocolate milk. But I do love an exceptional chocolate cake.
