In the Riviera Village Shopping district in Redondo Beach is cool women’s resale clothing boutique “Always Fabulous”. This tiny shop is stuffed with both new and gently used designer finds in near mint or new condition at 40%-80% off original retail. It’s about a 50/50 split between new items and gently used items with an emphasis on separates… jeans, blouses, trousers, skirts, dresses, jackets and accessories. Everything is hip, in style and current.

The deals here are stellar. Owner, Meri Hornberger sharp eye and industry know how allows her to snap up new designer deals in overstock from boutiques & manufacturers, designers samples and near new items from stylish clients. You’ll see a huge range here from St John Knits and Versace, to Gap, Anne Taylor, BCBG and Ed Hardy. A full spectrum to choose from petites to plus sizes! You’ll see trinkets next to couture items and designer handbags next to vintage. Apparently this mix of new, hip with classic and vintage is intentional, making it a fun treasure hunt.

Some standouts included a Nanette Lepore skirt at $61 … original retail is $198. A pair of Joie satin cargo pants were $95 instead of $195. Some NWT Wag embellished tanks were $24 instead of $52. A classic Piazza Sempione blouse was $28, retail would run $100 or more. A beaded knit cocktail dress by DKNY was a superior buy at $23.20 instead of $120. A Barney’s New York summer suit was a steal at $45 instead of $400.
An entire rack was dedicated to designer jeans by Paper Denim, Seven For All Mankind, True Religion, Joe, Chip & Pepper, Earl, Antik and AG jeans all priced from $55-$110… about 40%-60% below retail.

Lots of shoes, designer sunglasses, handbags and accessories here The handbag selection was fun with a large Fendi bag at $240 instead of $800 and a new, large, black leather studded Besso hobo bag $280 instead of $500. Some classic M. Andonia bags were priced at $110 instead of $230-$250. Cool shoes here by Mossimo, Stuart Weitzmann, Gucci, Coach, DKNY, BCBG Girls, Two Lips and more. I especially liked a pair of gently worn DKNY purple pumps at $35 instead if $95. The grouping of designer sunglasses by Gucci, Dior, Fendi, Caviar Versace and others were all NWT and at 55% off of retail.

The deals here are on the clock as turn over is quick. Always Fabulous marks down items 20% after the first 3 weeks and after 6 weeks they’re discounted an additional 40%. This causes savvy bargain hunters to scoop up deals faster and makes item fly off the racks.
